This modern day Breakfast Club scenario details the coming together of five different personalities as they navigate the end of high school. I was keen to explore the idea of how we map out an identity or blueprint for our adult lives. Using a chalkboard as the backdrop and a mix of typefaces helped to create a work-in-progress, handmade feel. The old camera is a tip of the hat to the classic John Hughes movie, and a reminder that coming of age stories are shared across generations. I’ve illustrated the five characters to signify the shifting narratives for each chapter.
