When I read the manuscript for this book it struck me as one of the most user-friendly and helpful guides that I had come across for the often overworked, under-appreciated small business owners. I knew the design for this needed to feel simple and very clearly structured, so I researched and incorporated classic diary/planner navigational devices and clear hierarchy for the text. Large geometric shapes were employed to illustrate the idea of balance, a valuable skill that the author is trying to teach in this book. There are large coloured circles and triangles that are precariously leaning off each other.
