-
This book documents the creation of a handcrafted, bespoke, $50,000 coat. It takes us on a journey around the world, and we learn about the tailorís craft and where he sourced the finest fleece, silk, buttons and trimmings. The book highlights the divide between craftspeople dedicated to timeless quality and the now mass-produced, fast fashion world we live in. The idea behind the cover design was to illustrate the journey of the coatís creation. I wanted the cover to have a bespoke feeling, so I hand-stitched the cover design, with thread and fabric seeming the most fitting medium to use.
