Imogen is the art director at Text Publishing, where she has worked as a book designer and production manager since 2011. She manages the book and marketing design program while also designing covers for literary fiction, non-fiction, young adult and middle grade titles. Bitter yet hilarious, this comical novel is fast and witty and the perspective swaps between a number of characters whose lives are entangled. The bright, alternating colours reflect the different voices popping in and out of the narrative, while the border alludes to the fact that the story takes place within one house and within that a couple of rooms. The type is slightly imperfect much like the characters, and the simple illustration hints at the humour and drama that ensues.
