Laura Thomas is a freelance book designer based in Victoria, specialising in cover design and typesetting for both fiction and nonfiction. She has nearly two decades of experience in publishing, including nine years as a designer at Penguin Books Australia (2007–2016) and eight years at Scribe Publications (2016–2025), before transitioning to full-time freelance work.
